In Nature and Getting Stuck
This publication was the result of a commission by the National Trust, to explore and consult on their list of ‘50 things to do before you’re 11¾’. The essay reflects on the complexities of being in and connecting with nature when disabled, accompanied by images of me (sometimes ironically) ‘trying out’ different recommendations from the list.
The cover and credits were screenprinted onto GF Smith Colourplan paper, with each internal coloured page dyed using natural plants found in Victoria Park and Leigh Woods, both in Bristol. The story of dying these pages is interspersed into the publication.
